Frumex is the dream of 2 siblings, whom far away from Mexico, wanted to create an entrepreneurship that reminded them of home, and what better way than through the flavors they grew up with. Finally, in 2004, they opened their first shop in Salisbury, Maryland, where they prepared Paletas, 100% frozen fruit bars. Little by little, Frumex would attract customers who traveled long distances to enjoy the taste of home.

But this is also a love story. While Frumex gained popularity day by day, the heart of its founder was being conquered by his future wife, who at the time was preparing to go to college. Love inspired them to open a factory in proximity to her college of choice, so that Frumex and their relationship would continue to grow. Shortly after finding a factory location in Baltimore, they went from producing 200 to 10,000 Paletas daily! Love can do anything!

We are thrilled to see how our little Paleteria in Salisbury is now a business that has more than 200 points of sale and is present in 5 states.
